All Protection

Neoprene is the most common material for thermal protection while diving, it cheap to manufacture and available in many colors.  But remember, neoprene compresses with depth; so the deeper you go the less thermal protection your suit will provide.  Consider layered protection to keep you comfortable, and being too hot can be just as dangerous as being too cold; so make sure your thermal protection matches the water temperature.
